Do you have a farmhouse? I can sleep at anytime in the game. Even skip entire days if I go straight to sleep again.

Oh okay. I was playing in normal mode, so I had no tutorial. Could it be that the game only lets you sleep when its completed? Sorry that I can only make assumptions.

You're probably right. I think I broke the tutorial by going past the script. Oh, well. Thanks!

No idea when playing on easy. But there is no time that you need to wait for when playing on normal and buying a house that I have found. I can skip a day then immediately skip again if I don't have anything else to do

Do you by any chance have any mods installed? I have no problem sleeping on any of the maps I wake up at 9am each day, do my chores then sleep to the next day.
The only time I had a problem was when I downloaded the "sleep" mod thinking it was the sleep anywhere mod, but it turned out I accidentally downloaded the "only sleep at night" mod, and the game kept telling me "I wasn't tired" when I tried to sleep....

No mods. Just started out in Career mode. Tutorial mode.

Strange, I skip tutorial mode and never had that problem.

Can't say exactly how, but yeah I think it's an issue with the tutorial...which is very easy to get "off track" by doing something else, and maybe not even realize that it's still active and incomplete. I saw the "too early to sleep" message once when I first started. Once I completed the few tutorial steps though, I've never seen that message again (still on that same savefile couple hundred hours later).
