Thanks.
And why do we care, FromSoftware?

Just like how Elden Ring is an FromSoft game formula with slightly better graphics? I see no reason or justification for Elden Ring to be anything other than Dark Souls 4, other than for that it has an open world. And honestly, said open world did more to hinder my enjoyment of the game, than it did to enhance my experience.
I'd seriously recommend any new fans that started with Elden Ring to go try out Dark Souls 3. After you acclimatize to the different controls, you'll realize that it's actually a superior product. No copy pasta dungeons, no copy pasta boss fights, still a long game, has a larger unique catalog of challenging, but still fun bosses like Nameless King, Dragonslayer Armor, Champion Gundyr, Dancer of the Boreal Valley, and Soul of Cinder, and even more when you factor in the DLC with Slave Knight Gael, the Demon Prince, Darkeater Midir, and Sister Friede. It still has an amazing soundtrack, your character is still well animated, you still have a character customizer, there is still a lot of weapons you can use, and best of all it's more well balanced.
Since there a no Spirit Ashes, they didn't balance every boss in the game around fighting you + your spirit ashes, but around fighting you 1v1. No massive AoE explosions, no endless combos, no massively over-tuned damage that results in you needing to reach 60 Vigor if you want to not be one shot (the soft-cap is 40 Vigor and that's easily enough health to get you through the entire game, even when wearing meh armor) and best of all, no lazy garbage duo boss fights! There are still duo bosses, but they are actually fun and designed with there being two bosses in mind (except Pontiff, ♥♥♥♥ him in particular.)
While it's not as grand and majestic as Elden Ring's world, Dark Souls 3's world is still enjoyable to traverse and look at. Irithyll of the Boreal Valley is one of my favorite areas to look at in any video game, and it's from Dark Souls 3.
I really seriously cannot recommend it enough. Play Dark Souls 3 if you haven't.
