It's certainly strong, but also very costly FP wise compared to spammable spells. The main perk is it flies 25%ish farther than similar spells. You can get it for free near Debate parlor site of grace in RLA, behind an illusion wall.

Enderspoons has ELDEN RING

It hits about as hard as Loretta's Greatbow, but has a significantly faster cast time at the tradeoff of slightly less range.

If you're a dedicated mage with mana to spare, there's little reason not to trade upwards to use the most powerful spells you can fling for maximum DPS. If not, you may want to stick to lower-grade spells for more mana efficiency.

Night Comet (if that is the one you are referring to) is especially good when combined with Staff of Loss and the Moonveil Katana with the Jellyfish Shield. I run this build pretty much exclusively. Only exception is when I need Holy to kill the undead dead. It is also a bleed build making it extra strong. :)

Oh, and the build DOES start with Samurai. Along with the synergy between Staff of Loss, Moonveil Katana, and Night Comet since all scale with Int? Very, very strong and easy to achieve. :)

It's the strongest "pew pew" spell if you have the Lusat's staff, the Azur's Crown and a lot of FP.

Punished Golem has ELDEN RING

It's good but it's glinstone pebble on steroids. It costs a lot of fp for damage that can be matched with the glinstone krys ash of war, which is a lot cheaper and can be chained into a thrust
