WHO THE HELL IS DRAGON LORD PLACIDUSAX!?

I'm on NG+ and I was roaming around Altus Plateau ready to fast travel to Castle Sol in Mountain of the Giants when I had a thought to visit the round table first before doing so. Then as I was scrolling through my list of grace sites I came across one that I don't remember unlocking from Farum Azula because I haven't kindled the flames at the forge yet in my second run. So being the curious one that I am I decided to fast travel there to see what's up. Little did I realise I was being put smack dab in the middle of an IMMEDIATE BOSS FIGHT against what is supposedly the "Lord of all Dragons". No warning, no cutscene, just straight up get your s**** together and fight. I quickly summoned my mimic tear to help me in the fight and got him first try. But I never seen this boss ever on my first run.

.... Upon writing this I'm just now realising that I remember seeing a dragon vanish in one of the areas in Farum Azula so that must have been Placidusax. Did I encounter some sort of glitch or "wrong warp" on my second run? because I don't remember taking any steps to reach this boss on my first run. Now all of a sudden the grace site appears on my second ...

Well like I said in the O.P I happened to come across this site of grace on my grace list when I was heading to the round table to upgrade some armaments. For some reason, the name of the boss popped up in Farum Azula along with it's grace site. This just confirms my suspicion that I did in fact, encounter a glitch where it let me ft to the boss. It honestly never clicked in until the other day that boss was the same Dragon that disappeared on me moments before one of the boss fights (Can't remember if it's before Godskin Duo or after that you first see him disappear). And now suddenly his grace site appears on my second run.

I'm not a hacker nor would I even know how to cheat my way to getting to this boss. Even if I had that knowledge, I still wouldn't cheat my way to getting to him. Otherwise what's the point in playing? But the glitch happened, I saw the opportunity, and I took it.

I honestly paid no mind about it the first time around and thought it was just a random occurrence, I literally had no clue this was a boss to begin with. Let alone a remembrance bearing boss!
