Overall, the DLC has many hours of content. The exploration is a bit confusing, but enjoyable. The bosses can be a bit more difficult than what I would enjoy. Had to cheese many of them because I'm not banging my head against them for days. But if you have time and patience to deal with some difficulty spikes, I guess they are good fights.
Compared to the ratio of money spent to total hours of content, I would say it's a good buy.
It will probably be on sale around christmas.
I hope you get better job soon.
Has some good content but it's not worth the price tag at all. Half of the map is completely empty and many areas are disappointing. Despite looking big the actual content will not be worth it. Only get it if your money situation is good otherwise you're probably better off saving more for a new game.
If I were in your situation I would only consider it if I planned on replaying it a lot
Spoiling to improve quality of life (no spoilers, just where to spoil):
I think it sorely misses a dojo, so you can check out the new combat techniques and brutally hard enemies for more than 2 seconds before bonfire. Sekiro did it right!
Sorry to hear about your job, if anything it would be a reason to get the DLC* to take your mind off for a bit. Hope you find a better job soon and many loathsome frogs to touch.
*or whatever else can do that for you
100% agree on the emptiness, but there are ways around that.
Rather wait a little and buy a proper rpg like the upcoming KCD2.

or the soon releasing

Both much more worth your money.
+ Cool new weapons and spells
+ some cool new areas
+ some cool new bosses
+ the lore on one of the bosses is insanely good and after you read items or watched youtube video about him fighting him is very special.
- a lot and i mean a lot of emptiness where you just ride a horse for 5 minutes and thats it.
- Story is even more strange than the main game story and id argue also pretty meh the story itself is 3/10 at most. ( Lore about what happend before you enter dlc is good but i mean the actual story of the game which is from entering DLC to Killing end boss.)
- most bossfights are mediocre and some of them are even very annoying and the opposite of fun
Id say its probably worth it but its close.
DLC overall is a 6.5/10 for me
