The connection to elden ring game sever was lost returning to main menu
I love this game. I have never had issues with connection to the game unless it was on my end. As of today i cannot play the game for more than 5 minutes without being disconnected and sent to the main menu. I've tried everything from updating drivers to verifying game files, nothing is working. The game completely disconnects my entire PC from the internet for about 5 seconds after it kicks me to the main menu as well. Looking online i have found Reddit threads of people having the same issue posted years ago as of now i am forced to play the game entirely in offline mode witch really sucks as i have many friend that i play with. If anyone has had this issue before and found a fix please let me know what you did because bandai seems to have not fixed this issue for several years.

could it be an issue with easy anticheat? since you have no issues “playing offline”. that would be the one difference since EAC wouldn’t trigger in an offline session, i think?

So weird. just was playing in offline mode and after about 10 minutes my entire PC went offline even though there is noting wrong with my internet. Trying a reinstall now and if that doesn't fix it i guess im done playing for now.

Open command prompt as administrator

Do these commands in order:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

SFC /scannow

IPconfig /flushdns

Netsh int ipv4 reset

Netsh int IPV6 reset

Netsh int IP reset

Netsh int TCP reset

Netsh winsock reset

- Reboot pc

Afterbthat you will have potentially repaired any corrupt windows files, and reset Windows' network stack
