But depending on what infusion you use on your weapon, you could go for more or less anything else. You could heavy infuse for strength, keen for dex, occult for more arcane emphasis...
Anything that inflicts bleed scales of arcane. It doesn't do more damage but the build up is faster.
Putting the bleed infusion and some points in arcane can get you a pretty high build up.
I would suggest to put the minimum in strength and faith to use the uchi and the bloodflame incantation, then more points on dex for raw damage and arcane for bleed build up.
You can still respec if you mess up.
And your build will be tanked by anything that is immune to bleed
Vigor: +++ as high as 40
Faith: 12 and Arcane: 10 - to cast Bloodflame Blade once you find it
Vigor: 40!!!!!
Dex: +++++ to a maximum of 80 to capitalize on Keen infusion
Aside from that, boost Endurance if you want heavier armor and get your Vigor to between 52-60 eventually.
If Bloodflame Blade-enhanced melee with a side of Longbow is fun, this plan will work pretty well.
