The Game is unplayable after the last patch 1.10.1

So, I don't know what did they change, might be the unti-cheat update, but now I can't play ER as after several minutes FPS drops to 0 and you get the prompt about low FPS and the game basically goes back to main menu. I didn't have any problems with ER prior to this patch (AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D / RTX 3080 / 32GB RAM / ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO / Samsung 990 PRO 2TB Nvme).

Micro stutters since the last update appeared for me as well. It's not unplayable but annoying when they do happen.

I think I fixed it. It seems that Razer synapse didn't update my headphones driver that are connected via USB, it showed as an error in device manager. After I updated the USB driver it doesn't microstutter anymore.

Razer got a update few days ago i'm not sure if it was at the same day like the patch but yes razer is the worst driver manufacturer.

My advice is to use mods from nexus mods:

1) Anti-cheat toggler and offline launcher
2) UnlockTheFps
3) Elden Ring PC Stutter and Low Fps Fix

Game will be perfectly smooth, sad that developers are so lazy to fix all of this.
Without mods I had persistant stutters too, no matter what settings and resolution was selected.
Bad part is - you can't play online with mods, but your gaming expirience will be on the next level, because play with 60fps lock and stutters is suffering.
Also good thing is use custom PureDark DLLS mod, which stopped to work after 1.10.1 game update, but worked fine on 1.10 and was increasing fps significantly. DLLS mod isn't free, but if you can google you can find leaked version for free. So I guess mod will receive update soon.
My PC is 12700k + RTX 3080 + 32gb DDR5 + 980 PRO NVME

Same problem here but my game doesn't crash to desktop, it throws me offline because of low fps for online play.
I have the exact slowdown issue with Lords of the fallen but the difference is that that game wont throw me to offline mode.

It takes about a minute and my system soldiers through, during the slowdown i'm unable to get into task manager so i'm not able to see what hogs my resources.

Also noticeable is that it always happens only once after about 5 minutes in game, after that i can play trouble free for hours in Lords of the fallen.
Sadly because Elden ring goes to offline mode and can only go back online by restarting the game i'm unable to play online after it happens.

I can read my temps on my AIO and the cpu wont go up in temperature and the gpu temp drops to idle temp as its not being used during the slowdown.

Freshly build windows 11 system with almost no software besides gaming related.
Corsair ICUE, Afterburner and Sonic Suit Companion are running.

RTX 4090 with a 7800x3d

That kind of just sounds like some files might be messed up that causes some sort of behind-the-scenes error that slogs the game to a halt.
Did you try to revalidate your files/reinstall or maybe even clean-wipe-reinstall the game (except your savegames, of course)?
Maybe the game options are reset too.

It just seems a bit surreal that someone with such a behemoth of a computer has these issues out of nowhere, i run a rather low-end computer and the update changed nothing for me.

Can you tell us how to install the mods or give us a link with the instructions, i buy the game a few weeks and is really sad that i try everything for optimize the game without success i don't care of playing online it's doesn't affect me the multiplayer.

did a fresh install of Elden Ring, tried turning of windows 11 gaming settings and close corsair icue etc. Removed OC's from gpu and cpu, bios is up to date.
Did all the troubleshooting i can think off so far.

Plus as i can think of these are the only two games i own that use Easy anti cheat so i think its triggering something in my system for sure.

I just played through Alan Wake 2 and i'm in the middle of Baldurs gate 3 without a single hitch.

I've the same problem since last patch. I did some testing today. if you kill all led software like icue and razer synapse, game stay around 10-20 fps instead of 2 fps. it'll stay like that for a minute and if you're lucky, it won't send you back to the main menu. you can play online that way. it's not an ideal solution but I guess it's something that's worth pointing out. also it's a good idea to send a mail to costumer support. they'll ask you your pc specs and couple of log files. more data game devs get, faster they can diagnose the problem.

I have the same mobo as you and this fixed it for me for Elden ring and Lords of the fallen.
A quick troubleshooting chat with Dark Breed showed that most were using an Asus board as overlap between the issue.
