ive completed all available bosses except for the Dragon in the swamp. BUT i cant get passed Godrick the Grafted. I want to continue this game. I truly enjoy it. Can anyone put a sign outside it to help me get passed it. Please

Yes indeed, make sure to loot Weeping Peninsula to the south of Limgrave. Aside from that, if you managed to beat Margit, you should certainly be able to beat Godrick with more practice. Be persistent... for great justice!

If you haven't already, head south and explore Weeping Peninsula.

Buy the Knight set from the Twin Maiden Husk at the Roundtable. This is a good early game armor set. Notably, it has 51 poise, which is sufficient to poise through light attacks in PvE (50 poise damage). Not getting staggered on every hit makes an incredible difference in survivability.

Upgrade your weapons. You should be swimming in the lowest grade of smithing stones, and you should have enough of the second grade to upgrade your weapon a few times.

Increase your Vigor. Vigor is the most important stat right now. Ignore STR/DEX/INT/FTH/whatever your damage stat is, as the difference it will make is minimal at this point. Get just enough stats to meet the requirements for your weapons or spells, get enough END so that you're mid rolling, and then pump everything else into Vigor. Don't stop until your Vigor is at least 40, and you will eventually want to push it to 60.

Godrick is resistant to holy damage. So don't use Sacred infusions on your weapons. Otherwise, any damage type is fine.

Sometimes you just need to practice more. It can be helpful to put the game down for a few hours, or even to come back to it another day. It gives your body and brain some time to internalize the attack patterns and muscle memory, so you might find it much easier if you come back to it tomorrow.

These games are tough, and they demand that you learn and improve. But they also teach you. Each death is a hard lesson that should be making you think about what you did wrong and what you'll do differently next time. It's one of the things that makes Souls games so enjoyable, but it does mean you have to work for the win.

thank you both. Yes i can be online at 930pm tonight central time if that works for you so you know when to put the mark down.


also all the others Ive gone through that area a lot. haven't gotten the night armor. unless i missed something no gear or anything that was stronger than what i already have

i have the jelly fish and wolves. However the bell that spawns them is missing from my inventory i honestly don't know what happened to it. I know when i could summon them they all died withing 20 seconds

But have you done the Weeping Peninsula to the south yet, OP? Because if you did you would have more spirits, and other stuff. Note that it's another lower level area that fits in right between Limgrave/Mistwood and Stormveil Castle. But it can be easily missed.

Teleport to gatefront ruins grace and if you see a symbol in the middle of the screen on the left it means you can summon spirits, you don't use the bell item at all(it should be there somewhere within the inventory tho - otherwise you would need to get one from the merchant at roundtable, not sure if you can discard it). For Godrick you can also summon NPC Nepheli Loux. I can also help if you would still need someone.

yeah i use that NPC every time LOL i get close like 1/4th of the health left to defeating. but thats only like once out 10 attempts LOL.

You need to set multiplayer password and tell us. Also you need to use furlcalling finger remedy to reveal gold signs and this prevents you from using spirits such as those wolves.

I wouldn't really suggest summoning more than 1 person (I'm not talking about spirits, I'm talking about actual people or Nephelli ) and I'm saying that cuz the more cooperators you have in your lobby then more the enemies' health will scale . If you cannot find someone to help with the boss at least check fextralife's interactive map online and make sure that you have upgraded your gear and your sacred tears to the max level they can be upgraded by the end of stormveil castle. Also make sure that you are using the most beneficial tears for your flask (depends on your build) and when it comes to spirits I'd suggest using 1 of the 2 Banished Knight options if you have the fp requirement for them otherwise if you got the fanged imp ashes as your starting gift the imps can deal a lot of damage since they can make enemies bleed. If you don't have imps either i'd say that wolves or skeletons would be your best bet. The feeling of killing a boss by yourself is great and since Godrick isn't really concerned as a really hard boss it would be more beneficial for you to get some more practice in since there are some bosses later that you might find particularly hard. Ill be happy to help you optimize your build if you want to share it here and i'd encourage you to clear him by yourself (unless you are getting sick of the game LOL)
