cant launch the game anymore

Ever since the new patch I cannot launch Elden Ring. Seems the Easy Anti-cheat is the problem. It keeps telling me either there was an unknown error, or that an application is already running easy anti cheat (there isn't)
anyone else experiencing this and found a fix?

Try this:

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete any you can find by search again.

then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easy anti cheat, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

yours is a windows 11 issue could be the kernal stack issue

a simple elden ring patch make my system fail? windows, gpu, kernel, all..

i try elden ring on my brother's pc, fresh download
steam
elden ring

white screen on launch and crash if i click with mouse..
THE SAME PROBLEM.. different PC, configuration, windows version

the problem is the patch...

why before 10/01/24 all work without any problem?
only after elden ring update i have white screen problem...

try this
create a new windows administrator profile
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account-in-windows-20de74e0-ac7f-3502-a866-32915af2a34d

try to run the game there if this works the last windows update killed your old user profile if the same problem appear windows selfdestructed.

little tip trying random solutions not related to your problem will lead to nowhere it is just frustrating for you because you try things that will not help to fix a problem.

SOLVED (for me) i formatted my laptop with a fresh microsoft iso (windows 11 PRO 23H2)
now elden ring run!
