I was originally weirded out because Bleed isn't DoT in Elden Ring, or at least not for enemies. Just they burst a blood vessel or something and there is just a big damage spike and then it is back to nothing.
Well it used to be a damage negative for a stamina debuff more or less
In Elden Ring it's a hyuge chunk of damage at least
I love the inherent cheekiness of firing a bunch of those black bolts that cause Scarlet Rot at an enemy... then just chilling out at a distance while its health just ticks down.
