The particles on screen covering sight of wtf Radahn is doing or will do next (reducing the heigh form the ground would already make a ton of difference)
The punishment windows would be fine if we could see wtf Radahn is doing also why tf do all his melee moves in 2nd stage have AoEs too? I hate AoE spam and it is AoE spam from beginning to end of stage 2, still manageabe aand the "real concern" is all the particlees curtain covering the screen over and over.
Agreed.
Intended way to play against him seems to be
greatshield, Blood Antspur Rapier and sunglasses.
Oh and the shadow clone jutsu, but they don't do as much damage.
If this is your first run and Radahn gives you a hard time, i would not recommend to try Malenia or Mohg, both require very specific things and even than victory is not guranteed (depending on your self set boundaries ofc.)
Fighting both as a normal being (no magic, no comically large weapon, no epic weapon/armor) was a hell to go trough, mostly because of input latency or the attacks that either require said specific item as for Mohg or even specific technices for that mudmoth Malenia. Both are optional and will consume lot's of practice hours and luck.
Sir this is thread about final boss of DLC.
Well in that case excuse me pls, i didnt buy the dlc and had no idea that they reused bosses or their names again
I hope From learned not to design bosses in this way going forward, as the visual bloat and unavoidable triple-slash attacks are not healthy. I feel like every time I fight the Consort, I don't really learn much. How am I supposed to learn what I can't see?
I think the single thing that would help this fight would be for phase 2 to trigger at 30% or 40% health, instead of 60%. Phase 1 is enjoyable and fine, but phase 2 is way too much to deal with. By the time Phase 2 normally triggers, I feel like I'm kiting for the next 10 minutes waiting for a sliver of an opportunity to attack. Not fun.
Even Golden Hippo inside an egg-of-an-arena is not aas bad with camera and particles (and I am considering the body of the hippo covering the screen as "particles").
