How does Ashes of War scale?

So the talents of melee weapons, how do they gain damage? Is it + damage once every +1 upgrade?

It depends on the ash of war, but generally they scale with weapon level. Some will also scale with your stats, some will scale with the weapon AR.

Was talking about some magical homing swords, 4 at all, that hover above me until a mob comes close. It dealt entirely different damage levels from a +0 next to a +8 so i assume its a weapon level scaling

Some gain it from levels + weapon level
Some only from weapon level

It's relatively balanced
More you pump upgrades the more you deal
