Black Knife is pretty dope, not much of a golden order weapon though. Blade of Calling is great too, if you were to use both I'd recommend it.
For bigger fights you could farm up the Halo Scythe or use the Treespear, or the OG Claymore.
It's unhortodox for sure but it's certainly doable. Erdtree daggers are exceptionally good as far as daggers go, and you can obtain two in a single playthrough, a Flame Art/Sacred Misericorde is also a great option for ripostes.
By Golden Order you mean using only GO incantations or a holy focused build? Because GO incantations aren't exactly great.
Nah, mostly thematic armor wise and using holy weapons, but I won't be forced to only use those. Golden Vow, maybe flame grant me strength and stuff like that (Even though, if I recall, fire based spells are considered heretical according to lore?)
That's the idea, I was looking at also using stealth based spells, but the character would not be above using incantations that causes increased bleed etc. Their job is to eliminate enemies of the Erd tree and/or the Golden Order as a whole. If they must use heretical spells/incantations to accomplish this, so be it.
Sounds like a good idea to go for. Any particular spells you would recommend?
Direct damage is pretty bad comparatively, but Sacred Blade is a great buff and a ranged Ash of War for almost anything you want
Then again, Corhyn also sells Two Fingers incantations, but calls for heresy if you give him the Two Fingers prayerbook, but then, he also uses Two Fingers incantations if you attack him.
Elden Ring's lore is a giant mess, and it feels like it's the product 5 different writers who hate eachother, it's nowhere near as coherent as previous games, no matter how hard Vaati keeps pretending that it is.
Interesting, if i were to do this build from scratch, which do you think would be a better starter, Prisoner of Confessor?
I'm thinking Prisoner would likely be better since I'll probably have to rely on Dex for a large portion of the game until i am able to get enough faith based items and so on. Beating Radahn with daggers or curved swords is going to be......interesting to say the least.
