Roll forward and to the right as the snoot would hit you= not the tusks
In my first attempt, I equipped my backhand blade with raptor's mist and it worked like a charm. Don't try to attack when you pull off the raptor dodge thoug, or you will get hit.
Since Gaius mostly charges from a distance, I suggest equipping a dagger with raptor's mist, use it to dodge the charge, then change back to your weapon of choice.
I agree..no reason to make dodging so strict...once you have the solution you should have a reasonable amount of room to dodge...
