I think I kinda made it worse for myself but going full faith build, using lots of lightning spells (not in the winning run). That and binging it for 5 hours Friday and 5 hours Saturday.
I still maintain that Fromsoft should be less aggressive with the lighting effects, but I'm being a little hyperbolic. If you don't marathon it like I did you should be fine. :)
I'm guessing Radump and his shoulder-twink are weak to Scarlet Rot? Any other notable weaknesses?
I figured he was weak to Scarlet Rot because lore and was right.
He seems to be quite vulnerable to bleed, Sir Ansbach always landed blood loss and when I was fighting with katana, plus had mimic with katana we always inflicted the status ailment at least a few times.
Apparently he doesn't like frostbite either. I was trying to do ice breath + scarlet rot + destined death + Thioller's poison in one run but in the end I found it was better to focus on Scarlet Rot.
The downside with going this route is that it makes it harder to dodge through his attacks than if you are hugging his right side and rolling through everything. Keeping your distance like I did makes him a lot more unpredictable. But it's the best way to deal damage.
