I tell you ... finish the whole game with all optional areas first, you will get a far less steep in difficulty this way also if you somehow manage to lvl up and beat the DLC before midgame and other optional areas you will sort of have a walk in the park ahead of you in comparison to all you beaten at the DLC.

It is sort of midgame to get there, but the jump in difficulty is beyond endgame for DLC bosses.
You are lvl 20 by now, best thing you do is keep playing and learning to not get hit and to avoid combos and AoEs at the base game.

What does it matter? Have fun with the base game for now :) mogh is closer to endgame and radahn is midgame

Llv 120 should be enough I think. You have a lot of stuff to do before that though.

i would not go into DLC with anything less than level 140+... as a caster probably level 160+
its absolute endgame areas comparable to Halligtree

dlc entry condition requires you to kill a very late game boss + a mid game boss. you CAN get to the dlc in about an hour if you know where to go to trigger everything you need but one of the bosses will be very hard at low level.

level 120-150 is recommended to start the dlc. you wont have a good time if you rush to get there.

best thing to do is just enjoy the game. its MASSIVE.

as i said you CAN get to the dlc in like an hour on a new character. but he is a very late game boss if you don't use the crest. and his difficulty reflects that.

Honestly, the only thing holding a low lvl char from beating mogh is NIHIL.
