Veil Over the Scadutree Lore

I was looking at the amazing views of the scadutree in the dlc and realized something about the veil. Is it possible that the veil is what is hiding the realm of shadow from the lands between, placed there by Marika's grace?

Just wondering if anyone else has thought about this and if there is any other evidence proving/disproving this in the item descriptions.

yes. that's why Mesmer has abandonment issues having a sad in his room. Marika abandoned the place and hid it.

Mimic's Veil from the base game which is an item that hides you, calls itself "Marika's Mischief" after what she did about hiding the Genocide in the Lands of Shadow. Miyazaki in a interview says himself that the veil over the Scadutree is what keeps the Lands of Shadow Hidden. If you side with Miquella he removes the Veil revealing the Lands of Shadow to conjoin with the Lands Between Once More. The Missing Land Mass in the Lands Between is where the Lands of Shadow should be.

Thanks, I had no clue about this cut content and interview stuff. It's awesome to see the visual storytelling inside the DLC
