How to summon Jolan for Messmer fight?

Hello everyone,
I'd like to summon for Jolan the Messmer fight, but I'm rather confused which conditions must be met, so taht her call sign appears. I already finished Ymirs quest and gave her the Iris of Grace, but taht didn't do the trick? Is there anything else I need to do before I can summon her?

I think you had to partially do Ymir's quest, but not complete it all the way, to summon her as an NPC.

But now that you have her as a spirit ash, you can just use that, I guess.

I had the option to summon her after of course talking with her before and after finding the first finger ruins for Ymir. So that (or was two ruins....cant remember!).

Well, she's dead, ofc you can't summon her as an NPC anymore lmao. She's a spirit ash now.

BTW, there's a somewhat obscure secret in this DLC where you combine her spirit ash with her twin sister, Anna, and can summon them both at once.

Hint: look around the shaman village for a secret path.

Step 1: Get quest from Ymir and exhaust his dialogue
Step 2: Before heading anywhere, go and speak with Jolan (same room as Ymir) and exhaust her dialogue
Step 3: Head to ruins of Rhia and sound the whistle
Step 4: Head back to Ymir, exhaust his dialogue
Step 5: Speak to Jolan again, exhaust her dialogue
Step 6: After those 5 steps are done, Jolan's summon sign will be available INSIDE Messmer's arena, to your immediate left (If you're pursuing Hornsent's quest as well, his summon will be on the right side of the arena)
