Can't load into DLC

Whenever I interact with the cocoon to enter the DLC, I just get stuck at a loading screen and can't do anything. Closing the game and continuing that character brings me to another loading screen that stops progress at abt the 1/4 mark and then won't load any further. This means that I totally lose access to the character, which is REALLY upsetting. Can someone please point me in the right direction to fix this? Uninstalling and re-downloading hasn't worked so far, but if any of you have had the issue and solved it as such let me know and I'll try again. Anyways, best of luck guys, and hopefully I can find a solution ;_;
