Anyone having a good fool proof guide against Malenia?

I have played DS1 before and far before DS the old Monster Hunter games so I have no issue with difficulty.
I picked up Elden Ring in December when it was on sale because I wasn't too sure about it yet. However I absolutely loved it so far. I breezed far to the last boss and I did all of the dungeons but I still need to get all ashes and talismans and malenia before I can move onto the end because I want to get as many achievements done as possible on my first playthrough. I rarely used ashes (only in open world encounmters twice) because people strongly advised against it and I don't play a mage because mage is easy mode and I hate mages in RPGs. Also I'm in the 125 level meta like people also advised and didn't level vigor because health is for noobs. Only boss I really had difficulty with before Malenia was Margit. All the others were fairly easy. And no, I don't use RoB because it's strongly advised to not use it. I started with Vagabond because I always play warriors or knights. I only leveled a bit of vigor and the rest is strenght and stamina with dexerty and a bit of the faith one so I can wield the optional weapon for rune farm.
I managed to get Malenia to 20% to 10% in her second phase quite often but sometimes the scarlet rot just ♥♥♥♥♥ me up. I don't use ashes as I said before because they're useless and you shouldn't use them. I tried with mimic tear once but it just heals her more than I can damage her and I also tried the bow dude (forgot his name but it was the one from Radahn) after I saw a reddit video about it but the AI is too stupid and ashes in general are considered cheating and not a true challenge and how the game is meant to be played.
I took a bit of a break recently though because I had a lot of real life stuff needing my attention and I want to return to the game and get this done off my list so I can finish all achievements except the other endings which I'll get easily in NG+.

You are not a real man when you use strategies or anything else the game offers to aid you. You have to do it naked at base level with a wooden stick ,anything else would be maidenless cheese and not earned.

I just want some solid plan I can pull off when drunk (I mostly play drunk) on stream.
I can dodge waterfowl dance.
I just feel a little discouraged after reading up stuff on many forums and groups because soulslikes are only for the elites.

Just enjoy the game and use what you want to use. Who cares for the opinion of others. Do your own thing. Play the way YOU like and don´t give a damn about the opinion of others.

She receives healing when you get hit. Stop rushing it. Learn how she moves. Learn how she attacks. Attack her AFTER she finishes attacking and get out fast.

There's no tricks to beating her. It's just learning her move set.

that's not the problem. When I used one of those reddit video tactics she healed through the breandead ashes. ashes are garbage in the game anyways and not intended for the game anyways

Okay but tell that to the people when I'm streaming. I just generally try to appeal to the majority especially since I played DS1 (although that was on console back then) and I just hate how every game puts the xbox configs on steam when I plug in a ps4 or ps3 controller. I don't know what A Y B or X are there. Why can't Steam just show me the right config for a specific controller

It is the problem. You're rushing it. I beat her second time ever at level 80. The thing that killed me the first time was that meteor dive in the second phase. 125 is more than enough.

Watch her. Learn her moves. Dodge them. Counter. She's really not that hard. Nothing in this game is. This is the casual version of Dark Souls.

what wrong with having high vigor? level it up till 60 and it quite the opposite only noob that don't know how to play didn't level it up.

If you're gonna shoot her to death might as well temporarily respec to a caster and save yourself some time.

Put BHS on a heavy thrusting sword and use frost grease followed by bleed grease. You basically only jump R1 and run R2 her after she finished an attack animation to guarantee the stagger and BHS is there for the oh ♥♥♥♥ moment when you charge into her as she starts waterfowl dance.

To dodge waterfowl dance with BHS you simply unlock and BHS into her every time she starts one of the attack sequences of waterfowl dance. When she uses scarlet aeonia you just dodge that charge and sprint away.

100% fullproof.

If using spirit ashes only use black knife tiche.

She dodges most attacks and is incredible helpfull. Otherwise, roll her 'engarde attack' towards past her. and for her waterfowl sword attacks you roll twice back, then forward when she does the third swings as she will teleport behind you.

For her clones move left right left right foward or reverse (Dont remember etxact comb)

Also mimic tear was OP at launch of er.

For this fight rn black knive is best spirit ash.

Oh, and that +2 dragon accio also helps from Farum.

And do consider respeccing into 40 vigor. You should have that by that point.

Right.....Im going to try to suggest something useful that doesnt break your strict code of ethics

Freezing pots+ Bloodflies and a Reduvia. Well timed they will completly lock the chicken dance.....or does that count as cheating? I dont know man...i killed her more times than i can count and feels "legit" if you ask me.
