I got really lucky and got it when passing through wasn't even farming it, tried to get another one and eventually gave up and went with another straight sword.

And I got the estoc while farming for the second slender sword. Literally the only time iv'e ever been lucky with farming and one time i wasn't farming and the second i didn't get what i actually wanted.

I have both Noble's Slender Sword and Estoc and they're straight up garbage.

dunno or care about the Estoc, but Slender does have the longest range of Straight Swords apparently, plus not-bad dex scaling on a smithing stone weapon, lots of varaity in AoWs. Also resells better than most equipment at 1k runes, but if you hit that drop I don't see it getting sold.
