Infinite Stamina cheater?

Was playing Colosseum today RL 115, got matched with this guy using heavy armor and a Greatshield with a partisan noticed he never really stopped attacking and dodging even after blocking several hits so i switched to a colossal sword and starting banging on his shield without letup and he never got stance broken not once even after multiple hits while still trying to return attacks.

Now i know he could have high stamina but i don't see how he can tank that many attacks and be completely fine. Especially since iv'e used Greatshields and shields in the past before. So is this actually a possible thing to do with a glitch or just specific talismans or was he actually one of the first cheaters iv'e met in game?

impossible to tell without footage I'm afraid. Some talismans and barricade shield can obiously help.

Blocking in PvP became almost pointless even since they drasticaly increased stamina usage in a earlier patch.

You really need to build up into blocking for this to be efficient.
They they use any active buff on their shield? Like a grease or Barricade AoW that make it glow.
On top of using the stamina improving talisman and the Shield talisman itself. Trying to make the Guard Boost as high as possible.

I did gave a try to commiting to blocking fora build and it's usefulness is still limited.

Greatshield poke is still banned on all PvP tournaments and ranking matches because of how overbearing it is. You just cannot sit still and mindlessly block anymore.

Nope no buffs and definitely barricade or any greases literally just blocking everything without running out of stamina even while attacking and he only really dogged a few times in the fight.

I don't think it was 9882 since every so often i could hit him multiple times in a row unless that's something that can happen when using 9882. that and while there was a time or two where i had some lag it was actually a pretty smooth connection for the most part.

Maybe still kinda hard to tank that many hits though, I mostly do melee chars and on my first character have maxed out stamina with physic and talismans and even then it still runs out when i'm not being careful about it. like i said he might just have a super optimized shield poke build but as someone who used greatshields for a short amount of time he'd have to be doing some crazy stuff with buffs and talismans to pull that off.

he could be a cheater, yes. it's rare but there's people who aren't affected by EAC. not gonna go deeper into the details ofc.

Golden rul, just block any players who lag too much. That takes care of the handful greasy neckbeards who might use the exploit too.
