The Toughest Boss in Elden Ring...........
The Bell Bearing guy in Caelid. Even in NG+ he is kicking my arse.

I never heard of this boss.
I just read it is somehow connected to Elemer of the Briar in Shaded Castle which I did fight.

It's overtuned, Elemer was way easier than this guy.

True..fighting this guy in caelid is a nightmare. I just double-jump onto the roof of the building with torrent and use rot breath or poison arrows to cheese him.

Can´t be bothered to fight this bs enemy anymore.

Stay close to him so he can't do the floating sword thing, he's close range moves are much easier to deal with than that thing. He was difficult for me until I started doing that. Its very reactable with light rolls and hitting him on the openings from that.

Just use a katana or anything with bleed.

Parrying is his kryptonite. Juuuust don't get too greedy in case he pulls a nasty on you.

It took me over a dozen attempts to beat that particular Bell Bearing hunter.

My strategy was to go absolutely ham with power stance daggers when he first spawns in. Got him to half health this way. Then I switched to the bow and kept him at a wide distance while plinking him with arrows. It was at this point a T-rex dog and a ram also decided to join the fight. Still managed to finish him off, but it took a lot of arrows, patience, and knowledge of the terrain so I didn't lose to gravity.

Conversely, I just beat Commander Niall on my first attempt. Go figure.

Another pain in the arse is the guy with the fire shield and pyro powers in the castle. Fort something or other. He is just an average guy with greater than average powers. Up in the snow country before you cross the first chain bridge.

Dude has a lot of poise for being an average enemy type.

This, I still have yet to beat the Caelid bell bearing hunter but Elemer is stupid easy compared to this guy.

I just found that guy the other day. It was like reliving my nonexistent ptsd memories of 'nam.

Greatsword with Giant Hunt can help him ascend (a few feet only, but it's enough).
