Serpent Bow Bug Testing

So I heard that Serpent Bow poison effect affects on bows while off hand. So I went and did some lazy testing while shooting at the Land Octopus at Limgrave's beach.
Serpent Bow Poison does effect Bows.
Serpent Bow Poison does effect Crossbows.
Serpent Bow Poison doesn't seem to effect Greatbows but It may be due to how slow the attack speed is so not quick enough to poison proc.
Serpent Bow Poison doesn't seem to work with consumables like bone darts(just had to check).
