I need ideas for builds for the dlc :( I keep getting bored trying to start a new character

A FTH/INT necromancer/death mage, make sure to use the skeletal spirit ashes with it.

That is good to hear, lack of good scaling weapons is the main reason i never made a death mage.

I'll buck the trend here. The Ash of War Storm Strike is one of my very favorites in the game - it hits very hard, has good range, and has a great refire rate. Its damage scaling is based off of Quality.

Quality really only starts being worth it once you reach the soft caps. Considering vigor, that's a minimum of lvl180 or so.
