Which Phalanx does the most stance damage?

Its Carian correct if all the swords hit?

The ash of war by far. No spell is particular good at breaking stance.

there is spell type for carian grandieour too.. you dont need that sword for ashes of war

the ash of war does 10 poise damage per blade while the spell does 1, so yes you need the ash of war. The greatblade spell also does 10 poise per blade but isn't nearly as good. It has 1 less blade, costs twice as much and is probably slower, though I could be wrong on the last point.
