It really depends on the person. Running through the game I expect a lot of people to get 30-40 hours. Those of us that will try to do everything possible will end up with 100+

lets look at it this way. before elden ring came out the devs said its gonna be a 30-40 hour game and more if you do everything. now look at everyones real playtime after 2 years

mine is over 600 hours. i dont even get why people think about this. there is propably no other game on the market that will give you that much quality playtime for that little money in a singleplayer game

As said we're told it'll be about 40 hours of content. Subtract about 15 and you'll be closer to a real play time, Devs like to over value play time, Looks better for investors.

It'll be big, it's more of an old school expansion than some modern day dlc slop. But unless you spend hours looking at a blade of grass or get stuck on a boss I doubt it'll take 40 hours to clear for most people. Key word "Most People" before anyone gets grumpy. lol

we don't know exactly, but we can make an educated guess based on amount of content.
if i remember correctly, there will be:
30+ new music tracks
100 new weapons
more than 20 bosses (I don't remember exact number, might be more, up to 30, please double check this for me)
so, by amount of some content, especially music, it is around 40% of the original game. it is a lot for dlc, and bigger than many AAA games
