thoughts on Irina and Hyetta?

it really seems like Hyetta is supposed to be Shabriri possessing Irina's body

Irina is distinctive, she trigger's Hyetta's appearance, she exists only to die and be seen by you dead, and Shabriri shoves the idea of possession in your face when you meet him in Yura's body

yet, when Hyetta shows up, you can go back and Irina's body is still there. if her body vanished, everything would make sense (and be really cool and ominous), but since both women's bodies exist at the same time, it seems unclear and even doubtful that the possession explanation is correct even though it makes the most thematic sense and any *other* explanation for a random other girl having the same clothes and even the same voice by coincidence does not seem plausible

what do you think is going on?

It's not a theory, that's literally how it's meant to be. They have the same character model and it's outright explained to you by Shabriri. The fact that Irinia's body continues to exist is just a goof on the part of the developers.

this makes the most sense, but then why not patch it? it's a really cool piece of writing that isn't fully realized in the current state

Semantics, but... I didn't give any specifics, so it's kinda not literal. It's figurative.

It's hard to clearly define something that's loosely hinted at vaguely in items. Some people theorize Hyetta is possessed by Irina... Similar to Shabriri.

Same character model is most likely just because there are only so many character models. You can read into it that sometimes people look similar in real life and this is more of that.

They're different people, different bodies. Shabriri is just talking about his body-hopping, not implying others do the same.
