Misbegotten warrior / Crucible Knight combo

Is it possible to beat this couple at 40 lvl? Mofo monkey just keep pulling undodgeable move.

40 sounds tough, but doable. For that fight (I use summons for duo bosses, it's only fair) I generally let my summon distract the Crucible Knight while I knock out the Misbegotten. He's tough, but heavy poise damage or just kiting with ranged attacks are good strats. Then I take on the CK. If your summon is still alive, the fight is pretty easy at that point, the AI isn't great at tracking two targets. If not, well, just keep practicing or use a Parry skill.

You'll probably need to dispatch the Misbegotten Warrior asap to stand a chance 1-on-1 with the Crucible Knight. Once you can do that consistently, then it's just a matter of learning the Crucible Knight moveset and whittling down his health. Otherwise you gotta figure out a way to handle both of them at the same time if you wait too long.

I was able to kill the monki in first playthrough cuz i was overleveled (The teleport gate at the entrance to the bridge was opened for me to access to the radahn festival without getting through these guys and i don't even know how i did that). But this playthrough i have to run through the bridge & climb up gate and theres kinda not enough damage to dispatch him quickly. Guess i'll go get a decent summon before coming back.

They are a spirit ash summon. Fair fp cost too.

They're both really weak to parry and you have iframes during riposte

Iron Cleaver R2 makes short work of Misbegotten Warriors, since it starts you running forward the moment you press R2 - like a reaction-based running attack. Also, running R2s of most weapons can stagger them out of attacks.

Very, very little in the game is truly undodgeable - most of that kinda stuff has very tight timing to roll.

that boss combo always showed up after i killed radahn, did not know you could do it before.

that boss combo always showed up after i killed radahn, did not know you could do it before.

The teleport gateway at bridge is not working for me this playthrough (It does in my 1st) so i took the route through the bridge where the catapult keep shooting then climb up cliff to the behind of the castle, climb up ladder and go through twin rengars, flamethrower then there's a boss gate wher the twin is right near bonfire. That's the only available route for me atm.

I always go for godrick, then renalla, then do the ranni quest, and that leads you straight to caelid and the radahn fight. did not know the order mattered.

Redmane Castle has two states: Normal and Radahn Festival. If you haven't triggered the Radahn Festival yet (iirc the easiest way is by entering Altus Plateau), you fight the duo. After killing Starscourge Radahn, the castle returns to its normal state, and if you haven't killed the duo yet they reappear. You can fight them either before or after Radahn, it doesn't matter, just not while the festival is on.
