They're not too tough once you get the timing down. Panic roll if it's moving, get back if it starts glowing, otherwise hack away.

He is actually not that difficult to figure out, it's just hard to see it at first.

There's one you get to meet in the open later on that allows you to actually study what this thing does and once you see it they aren't as confusing anymore.

Yeah I'm not a fan of them, far too fast and aggressive for their size.

There are like 7 or 8 more in the game :) 2 in the capitol, 1 near volcano manor. 1 as a "boss" in a copy paste dungeon and I cannot remember the rest.

Well I already met another one in Stormveil Castle. Can't wait to see the rest of them.

They are almost completely harmless if you stick close to their sides.

Only time you will want to move well away is when they do explosion attack.
And watch the floor. You will see markings where explosions will occur.

Don't forget to abuse their weakness to fire and frost as well.

One is at the start of the game in a dungeon behind the imp statue wall. One in Stormveil. One is in dungeon behind Radahn. One in Mt Gelmir. In capitol there is one? I think one is in one more dungeon in the Mountaintops, one in Haligtree, one after lake of rot in that rot river. And three in capital of ash reached from the forbidden lands.

There are two in the capitol where you access the sewers ^^ in the same spot the are hidden until you walk near the fountain or what that is near the mausoleum looking buildings. near the tiny stone bridge across where there's a beef jerky guy praying.
