is it any good now? cuz i've seen people complaining of how terrible it is right now after the nerf, is it viable for end game?

i finished game recently with it to its definitely viable its prob just not as OP as it was

It's still a good weapon in PVE. It's the ash of war who has been nerfed heavily. If you really want to bleed stuff, a nagakiba infused in bleed is more effective.
My personal favorite in a bleed build is the Eleonora's poleblade, i suggest you to take a look, it's a fun weapon.

Because of that weapon ruined the game and leave out almost 1 milion of players , because some killed the challenge and interest for veterans

People who think Rivers of Blood has ever been anything less than a strong weapon are morons not worth listening to. It is still very good. Only real difference now is that you can't spam the weapon art and expect to win every fight.

ROB still slaps, it is just that most ppl know how to play against it AND new poise/hyperarmor rules made katanas weaker than they were (you cant poise through say halberds wearing best poise armor). AOW doesn't have hyperarmor either and doesn't deal enough dmg and buildup to those who level Vigor and End enough, also fire damage is weird since FTH builds have easy ways to up it but on Arcane build, it is kinda lame. Anyway, this weapon is still good, as any other actually besides a couple maybe. Just a matter of preference.

Lightning strike nagakiba is superior. Forget bleed, it’s weak.
