logic problems with Elden Ring

I've been making a madness build so I used the Vyke spear. I found out that that theirs an ever jail that I can get his armor. This armor has stuff to do with madness so I was expecting a buff to madness. I got no buff to madness. Also why can't I use Vykes dragon bolt on Vykes spear it makes no sense.

Vykes armor has no buffs if you look at the description. I think it should have a madness buff sense the armor is touched by the 3 fingers. if your talking about The Vykes spear has a unique skill but the Vykes dragon bolt is is an incantation so I should be able to put it on the Vykes spear. Also during the Vykes fight he puts on Vykes dragon bolt on his Vykes spear.

Need black dumpling helm for madness buff, they dropped the ball on interesting armor buffs. That's why it's mostly poise, fashion souls or black raptor cloak.

Vyke likely enchanted his spear with his ability when he was a champion of godwyn presumably since Godwyn is associated with dragon incantations and likely lost the ability/want to once he succumbed to madness.

Well you can't buff any weapon that already has a status buildup, except for some reason bloodhounds fang. Dems da rules

Just use the freaking incantation. You don't put incantations on weapons.

Yeah, it won't work. The weapon is already infused. It's like that in literally every other souls game. Get over it.

DS2 had a buff that buffed magic/faith infused weapons. So no, not every Souls game.

the vyke you fight in that evergaol isn't the same version of him that invaded you near that church. I know it makes no sense, but that's how things are.
even though his armor and weapon are still warped by the frenzied flame, that vyke is the version of him from before getting corrupted by it. he uses red lightning stuff instead of frenzy flame stuff.
that also means he uses a different version of his spear, which is unobtainable.
