the beast dagger also buffs the damage of the beast spells alongside of the beast seal.
beast incantation are mostly used to supplement a moveset not replace it. the beast sling is just a fast close range spell to stun/ keep an enemy in check or to get the final kill. the boulder is just as good as a fireball with decent range and damage. the beast claw especially the one attached to the hammer is a shotgun that is best used up close against a giant enemy where all of the claws hit the enemy at once. this is usually very risky and etc. so its not a tactic to base an entire build on. its not like a sorcery build where you dont need to use a melee weapon.
Bestial Sling is like a shotgun style spell. It's damage also greatly decreases across further ranges. You'll find that spell more powerful when up close against enemies. I believe it does strike damage so it'll be better against armored enemies, but I could be mistaken.
