Hows the Trading/Invading Scene on PC

So some context my little brother has been struggling financially and since Christmas is coming up i decided to give him my PS5 since to be honest the only thing i was playing was Elden ring on it. I was huge in the trading scene and had multiple mule characters with every weapon in the game etc, i played a lot. My question is how is the online in this game for PC in terms of trading and invasions? Is it still popping or not? On PS5 there was basically a waterfall of all that so before i hop back in i wanted to make sure.

I would not reccomend trading any items with randoms you don't know. There's still people that want to give you invalid items and ruin your save or attempt to get you banned. Backup your save file and trade with a friend, don't take candy from strangers.

Wait wtf? Thats a thing on PC? lmao yea might just stay away to be honest I loved the trading scene on console and loved helping others but i don't want to run even a small chance of getting banned that's lame AF

Invasions are fast at low levels, but I find it very slow at mid to high on both sides. It gets a little faster at meta ish, though.

Yes, its an established problem FROM has basically never cared to fix. However, you can trade if you think the person is trust worthy. For instance a friend. Word of warning, however, many people get candy from friends who didn't bother to tell them said candy came from other people and get friends banned... so always double check with your "friend" to be clear about this. Otherwise, if you see a known trustworthy name on the forums you could possibly risk the trade but back up your saves (search how if you don't know how) and thus if you do get banned you can revert back and not lose everything.

There is some trading available on PC. But between the bad apples that may drop invalid items and the CE/mods/mules that can spawn any item without trading, it'll remain much smaller than console trading.
