You are really nice guy, so i have to apologize for trolling... In reality im stuck with the fire giant. Couldnt motivate myself keep going.
The first few NG+ cycles aren't too challenging, especially if you keep leveling up (which I'd recommend as i think that's also a worthy experience to have in the game). Usually the last third of the game is where the NG+ starts to show its difficulty. However I'd say overall, NG+4 and beyond are challenging once you get to the DLC and end game areas such as Haligtree.
Its not just that the bosses deal more damage, they can take a lot more damage as well. Some bosses actually have slightly different move sets as well but it's been awhile since I've played and I'm not sure which ones that applies to. I do remember playing through the DLC the first time on my NG5 character and having a much harder time with Consort Radahn than many of the videos I ended up watching. I want to say CR does have a slightly different variation in NG+ but am not certain?
Either way, I'm not even one to like NG+ games but ER just hit with me. I really liked the build diversity and all the different ways to play. I dont memorize all the boss patterns either as I like to just use the tools I have and just play to have fun. My first play through I didn't even know you could use summons! I had no clue how to use them and what i was even collecting. It was such information overload as it was my first fromsoft game.
I know there's a lot of people who try to create a set of guidelines as to what constitutes a valid play through like no use of summons. Despite doing that my first time, I absolutely abandoned that thereafter and enjoyed decimating enemies quicker and quicker with the extra help and power creep I would gain by maximizing my builds. And that's what is fun. You can play how you like and there are a TON of self imposed restrictions or buffs you can enable in your playthroughs.
NG+ should introduce more powerful mob versions (preferably behind organic covenant like DS1 and not hardcoded like DS2), but for each character to be fully loaded be required to play these, is annoying.
I'm to stuck up with work, to focus on the game properly, but in in the holidays i'm going to finallly nail that stupid redhead with his stupid AOE ♥♥♥♥.
No, i mean the Fire Giant after Leyndell, which of is course a reference to Atlantis/Hyperborea/Asgard.
Another good game that not many people know about that I’ve been quite addicted to lately is Exanima. It’s not like from software games in fact, it’s quite different than anything I’ve ever played before I highly recommend people check it out
