Which is the better summon?

Why not both ? It depends on the boss, which one is the better summon. Dung Eater is a "must have" for me, but in some fights Luthel is the better choice, per ex. against Astel.

Dung Eater > Lhutel gonna betray you :er_sweat: :steamsalty:
Dung Eater can solo pve, if you're that kind of lazy.
Dung Eater, definitely.
As the mausoleum knight she is Lhutel tends to teleport all around the place, while fighting bosses. Every time this happens the boss will go for you......So EVERYTHING is better than her (unless you want to play pinball).

So Dung Eater is better. Was kind of hoping that wasn't the case since I was planning on doing his ending this run, but odds are I won't make it that far anyways.

could always queue the questline.. finish the game without dung eater. Then, roll back your save and run it again~ doy

Thing is, I'm doing a challenge run, and I doubt I can make it much further without summons. So I can't really skip him and come back later.

If you're tackling the DLC, Jotan and Anna is a really good summon as well.

I've cheesed or summoned for every boss, this run.
I refuse to lift a single sacred digit on my blood-glistened princess finger.

Depends on your build, do you want a tank summons or a speedy summons with some power ? Sorcery players usually like tanks , there are a few decent ones to chose from . For speed Black Knife Tiche , is good for far away bosses most of the time, can fly up in the air and do a good amount of damage without dying . Mimic tear is great for tankier builds with incantations. The Dung Eater questline is weighing on your mind , so just giving different options, mate. Oh ! you know all that ! hahaha

I am looking for a tanky summon that can pull agro. Would love to use Tiche but can't currently access her. Mimic is out of the question because like I said in an earlier post, I'm doing a challenge run.

Don't have the DLC, and even if I did, I doubt I could get past Mohg.
humm..... What summons using the highest FP do you have access to, that can agro without using Lhutel or Dung Eater ,upgraded up all the way, of course.

I have both the banished knight ones but I was hoping to find something stronger. I can also use the Cerulean Hidden Tear to bypass the summoning requirements, so fp isn't an issue.
