If you want to make it more interesting you can also use the bloodflame incantations. Maybe add some dragon communion incantations. dragon communion seal scales with arcane.
There is also a new sorcery with bleed buildup in the dlc. Might be worth checking out. It's called Impenetrable Thorns. Requires 24 faith.
As far as increasing the AoW damage on Mog’s Spear, what all increases that AoW damage?
I know Shard of Alexander and blood lords exaltation does, (only two talisman I know of), but for stat wise, does more Arcane stat boost that AoW further, or even the other stats that scale?
Again, thanks
The Bloodfiend's Fork is also worth a look for having very good Bleed buildup on what amounts to a pretty basic spear. Good for powerstancing.
The Bloodfiend's Sacred Spear (yes there are a lot of Bloodfiend weapons) is nearly identical to Mohg's Spear. The devs tried to create a tradeoff between the weapons by making the BSS have greater range but weaker damage, but Mohg's just blows it out of the water. Makes the weapon kind of pointless actually. Don't use it.
