you can even keep a log with the steam names of the players you connected to with their ping/connection health and block them as you please, also available in-game with the steam overlay.

the disadventage is: your official save file is not compatible with that mod. means, you need to start from the beginning again but the good thing is.
no invaders, no dumb co-op limitations which the official co-op has etc. aka you can still play with your friend/friends in areas where the main boss got defeated and no dumb fog wall´s which restrict both of you to a single area.
i have no idea why fromsoft hasnt done it like that, granted. its a bit OP but then again.
its completely seperated from the official servers. it has its own executable aswell.
since it is completely on its own serverwise and cant use the seemless co-op chars on the official servers is this a good trade-off.
tho, you need a good net connection since it goes peer to peer with steam server support. means, steam looks for a good solution between you both.
i mean, i live in germany and the friend with which i play in australia and the lags are extremely minor. they did this seemless co-op mode really good aside from a few minor bugs like, the person which joined can sometimes can not call torrent but is fast fixxed by closing and re-opening the session and happens rarely too.
but its really fun so far and like i said, for not being able to go onto the official servers but getting for this a PROPPER!!! co-op mode is worth the trade-off.
oh yea, and no dumb invaders =3.
Cheat mods are never the answer.
read again, you cant access the official servers with the seemless co-op mod nor is the save file compatible with the official game executable. so~
go in a corner and cry about it that you cant invade me/us xD.
i seen some crazy ♥♥♥♥ official wise. EAC is useless. so, i rather play a seemless co-op mod where i am not on official servers and dont need to deal with "potentially (cause not all are like that) cheater invaders".
btw, dont get me wrong, i have nothing against invasions overall, am just tired of those invaders which bypass EAC and cheat the living hell out of PvP. ya cant even do the arena properly anymore without that you run into atleast 5 cheaters out of 10 duels.
with said seemless co-op mod can ya play peacefully without that ya get an invader which is to (atleast what i´ve seen) 50% a cheater ^.^.
again, we have no access to the official servers with the seemless co-op mod. hence, it wouldnt affect anyone at all except you are an invader, ONLY THEN!! would it affect you. hence why i call you "salty invader". i mean, i could call you crying invader if you like.
i mean, you would probably call it a cheat if we would play officially and we just boot you out of our session via router block right? even tho it doesnt modifies the game at all xD.
man invaders are so silly. sorry that you cant get those fancy arc runes off from us.
