1st PlayThru Biggest Regret?

i'll go 1st.

Didn't activate stakes of marika everywhere, limiting my co-op summons, have been going back to place and activating stakes, just did like all of deeproot depths around fia boss fight locations etc.
Assuming I didn't want summons when playing thru but didn't consider GETTING summoned. F

This whole sequence feels like a Super Nintendo game. I've heard more people make comparisons to old school games lately, which is how I was feeling playing DS1

For me it was missing the Bolt of Gransax before the capital was burned to ash.

Playing on launch was quite the experience, EVERY minotaur in Siofra was a sniper for instance. I cheesed a lot of fights with the bugged Hoarfrost Stomp, kinda regretting ruining the challenge but it was also nice to have a win button for the most annoying sections when you're on your 20th retry...

(it's kinda telling that the nerfed Hoarfrost Stomp is now at HALF SPEED compared to version 1.0 and still is an awesome skill)

I didn't know you needed to use that finger item to get invaded while solo so I missed out on getting invaded for quite awhile wondering why I haven't been seeing any activity. They better get rid of this crap and bring back forced invasions.

Not hitting a high softcap on one of my main stats. I went Dex/Int and tried to level them both up evenly but by the end I feel like I would have been better slamming Int to 80 and then dumping the rest in dex later.

only regret was playing the game to 100% on the first play through, havent replayed it ever since. Finished 7 days after release, then i had nothing to play and keeped playing DS3.

My biggest regret is finishing the game and remembering it. All the beautiful sights, the wondrous exploration, boss, gear, spells and incants. All of it.

I want to forget it and play again with that same chase for something new
