invasions dead?

meta level invasion dead? i have a 61, 125, 150 and 166 build. In all of them i dont find a host under 2 min of waiting, when i am inside a world the phantom dies in 1 true combo and the host alt f4s...and the cycle repeats.

Are there any other Levels to invade in that are more active or is the game just dead already? Made a low level char aswell but, its the same, besides there are more cheater or glitcher active.

why is the word "invasions" in the Souls Community so hated and get so much attention from non PvP players, but if some1 asked for help there is maybe 1-2 ppl willing to help, but to hate on invasions there are tons of ppl licking each others sausage.

Elden Ring 30k players average: 1-3mins of waiting for an invasions
DS3 average of 5k players: instant invasions as soon as you press "try to invade a other world"
How many of them are seamless or mod run players? Maybe all solo? who knows.

Since ER invasions are so bad designed the majority of invaders are players that have way more knowledge about PvP than it used to be in other souls games.

PW summons are way to strong and that you only fight gank squads makes invasions for new pvp player entirely unfun and since you dont get anything from invasions besides of rune arcs, its pointless to do in the first place. I mean you needed 3 invasions for the Varre quest but you can also complete it now without invade ONCE.

But still Invasions are a core balance of the games coop, the game gets way to easy when u summon 2 friends that can run around inside the entire open world and kill everything for u. I mean its not fun to get carried that hard, but if thats the way you want to play the game, you do you, but you need to accept that this isnt how from software intended you to play. Its THEIR game, they can do what they want and you need to accept it when u buy it.

For all the ppl here crying about the seamless mod, why arent you as offended by other mods in different souls titles? I mean you can softban yourself on purpose on an alt account and play there online without dealing with invaders (most of the time), there is painted worlds, a mod by Church Guard that lets you play just like seamless (there are still fog gates tho) on steam servers without connecting to Games Matchmaking servers, you can even just join your friend via steam and you just spawn under his ass, even when he is in firelink shrine, when the servers went offline because of the RCE exploit even Private Server where a thing, they still are, but no one cried there, why now?

I for my part dont enjoy PvP in Elden Ring either, i just play it because i force me to enjoy it, i just cant, its way to gimmicky and spam heavy its awful.

No it's definitely the game for me because I paid money to play it. If i'm able to mod 'in' or 'out' the things I don't enjoy then what's the problem. It has no effect on you or how 'you' choose enjoy the game 'you' also purchased. I paid for something and that something has options whether official or not to change it to my liking. Who are you to tell me otherwise. You don't have ownership of the game or it's assets and therefore cannot dictate how the game should be played. Like get over yourself my guy. Its in the ToS of the game that you arent allowed to tamper with the files in anyways. Modding is such thing. Its even the frist msg you see when you enter the game, do you not read anything that is in front of your face?

You say "unless the devs say otherwise" but have they not already made their statement by including invasions in the first place? The number one complaint I see from those who partake in seamless is invaders. If one is too afraid to fight an invader despite having a large amount of advantages (higher levels, one or two friends who might vastly out-level the invader, rune arc, extra flasks, etc.) in a video game that doesn't even penalize you for losing to said invader, then yes I would indeed consider that cowardice. I realize there are other reasons to use seamless, but most of what I hear is people being afraid of the bad red man.

That TOS only applies to online play using official means. I would get banned for doing any kind of modifications and then trying to use those modifications online with other players using official vanilla online multiplayer. The seamless co-op mod circumvents that entirely and only works when all players involved willingly use the mod. It has no effect on the people using the official vanilla means of connecting to each other. Therefore doesn't break the TOS. It's called a loophole. Also until the devs say otherwise and tells the seamless co-op mod creator or any mod creator in fact to cease and desist we are free to utilize the seamless mod and any other mod with the game as we see fit. WoW has been around for a long time. the pvp scene in WoW is huge. WoW also balances the game out each patch. you want arena? there is arena. you want duels? there is the option to duel whoever you want. want open world pvp? make a character on a pvp realm.

or do you prefer elden ring with the broken builds, status effects, and exploits/duping items to get the upper hand over players who play straight? nobody wants to play with you. get over it lmao.

These bans happen, and people can play offline or use seamless after they got banned just fine. So whether they continue playing in either way, their "cheating" won't be affecting you directly anymore(for 180 days at least). Hence I said above "banning people from the server they don't use is silly". It's funny that this is an issue, but there is no issue with duped items at all...

this is false. this is a broken game that the "pvp community" takes advantage of just like the other souls games. there are plenty of multiplayer games that provide timely updates and quality of life improvements. idk what point you're trying to make. but cope more.
