4K PS5 or 1080p Max on PC
I have a pc with a RX 6700 XT, 5800X3D and 32GB ram on a 1080p BENQ EX2510s. I also have a 4k LGUQ91 which is a fairly budget-mid range 4K tv and a ps5. Which would be the best way to experience the game? Thanks!

The Playstation 5 version of the game is the best from all.

The PS5 version is poorly optimized. Its not the hardware`s fault, its just that the devs didnt care too much about optimizing their game. It can sometimes dip to the 40s on the PS5, not the end of the world if you ask me, but it depends on the person.

Thanks guys, I'll just grab the pc version to avoid the textures looking washed on the PS4 version

plug your PC into that 4k TV. Why would you ever want to play on console?

You can use your pc with a tv. And i dont think PS5 would be native 4k. 6700xt would do well for 1440p high 60 and it looks just as good imo
My personal experience is that the game runs better on ps5, I cant think of anytime ive had performance issues there. I get a lot of stutters on the pc version, however there's people with pc's with worse specs than mine that say they run it fine. So I'd say pc performance can be hit or miss. I use ps5 for the vanilla experience since less of a chance of running into hackers during pvp. PC version i use to for mods and playing with friends that wanted to seemless.

Lately I've noticed the performance is much better on PC than 1.09, so either drivers are better or the game has been optimized further. On PS5 it reduces rendering quality to hit the frame rate target, while preserving the resolution. So, it looks worse, technically, unless your TV has very low frame-to-frame response time.
the "4k" on ps5 and xbox isnt really 4k, its a 4k display resolution with a 1080-1440p render resolution being upscaled by their admittedly excellent upscaling algorithms. they dont have nearly the power for actual 4k. also the frame rate is terrible. youve got enough to run it at 4k on PC. i run it at 4k 60fps on older and lower grade hardware than you.

Great comment woof

There's way too much manual tuning necessary to get an actually optimized experience with this game. If you tweak something in the GPU control panel, all hell might break loose, so I recommend taking some time playing around with settings to achieve stable frame rate and high graphic fidelity.

A lot of us are spoiled by drivers and games automatically just working, but under the hood are usually atrocities of software engineering.

I personally say get it on PC. Once the game gets dull after beating it so many times you can play some awesome mods like The Convergence that completely overhauls the game and if you have some friends you can play the awesome Co-op mod and have seemless multiplayer where you wont get disconnected after every boss is killed.

no tuning required. just dont turn on "ray tracing", not sure why anyone would anyways, it never actually looks any better or even different. bam. 60fps 90% of the time, all other settings besides AO at max, because anyone with half a brain and experience with PC games knows the ambient occlusion is awlays identical on the last 2-3 settings, just with a doubled sample rate each time for no actual reason.

Well, now I feel dumb for complimenting you. I'm going to take it back.

why, because you didnt understand what i was saying in the first place, and thought i was agreeing that the game performs poorly? sorry fam but im not perpetuating that lie. the game has ran excellently since the first patch.
