Is it possible to get some spells I missed with other peoples help?

For example because I dumbily killed a character I couldnt complete a puzzle on some sort of tower which is where I could get that magic hammer sorcery, but seeing on youtube how annoying doing that puzzle would be and starting another NG run, I just want to ask if its possible to obtain it online like if I go there in another players world or if he drops it for me (is it even possible?) I finished the game solo so i dont know much about the mp interactions, if someone can clarify

Unfortunately not, you need the Erudition gesture that Thops gives to you when you give him the spare Academy Glintstone Key to open that tower, aswell as the Twinsage Glintstone Crown that you can find on the way to said Key.
The only way to get these sorceries now is to either go into NG+ or to just start a new game from scratch, there is no way to obtain the Erudition gesture other than by completing Thops' questline.

No. When playing in someone's world you only get runes and you can pick drops from enemies. If you kill boss you get rune arc reward and you get send back to your world. Spells cannot be dropped to other players' as well. You need to get the spell naturally. Also I have no idea what character you killed and what spell you needed.

Edit. If you start NG+1 using same character you can get the stuff you missed on the first playthrough. There is couple of things you can't get in playthrough anyway, despite of how well you would clear the game.

Like the guy above said it was the thops guy, i killed every merchant npc in the game so I made a mistake and locked myself out of it, theres a tower in liurnia that gives you two sorcery spells one is some sort of mortar and the other is a hammer.

Thx man and Yeah it was thops, I was searching on yt i found the process to get that gesture just eyeroll inducing, i tried even to clip through the walls using movement abilities or jumping nonstop with torrent but it didnt work i guess theres nothing I can do, ill have to replay again which i will cuz its dark souls i mean elden ring

If you are a completionist, better look up how to get some spells and gestures before doing a NG+ or a new playthrough, they can be pretty tricky to get sometimes and can't be traded.

Yep I did, i got all of them except those two and when I started going after the collectibles before going to CFA, I was already screwed cuz I killed thops

I mean, this is just what happens when you go around killing NPCs. I don't know why you're surprised by this. This isn't even unique to Souls games, this is pretty much standard in any RPG where quest failure is an option.

Sadly, starting over or going into NG+ is the only way to get it.

Getting the gesture itself isn't too difficult or complex, you just have to give Thops the spare Glintstone Key (which you would find if you fully cleared Raya Lucaria). It's how you use the gesture to access the tower that is a bit more cryptic, but it's not hard once you know what to do. IIRC, any glintstone crown will work, not just the Twinsage one. (Specifically, it has to be one that lights up when using the gesture; there's a few that don't.)
