it's weird for Fromsoft to do something like this, selling microtransaction stuff has never been their thing.
Because i bought all their games. And they never did such things. Their dlc was actual content, not a skinpacks.
Are they waiting for PS6 release to be a starting game on that platform?
Suffice to say I am hesitant to even buy Shadow of the Erdtree because it cost nearly twice more what we get for Dark Souls III Season Pass which had two DLC's: Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City which was worth it. And if tarnished DLC arrives on PC i would simply ignore it. I payed for my game once (well maybe for expansion - then twice). Why should I pay more? To support the studio? To show my appreciation for their work? The game sold 30 million copies so I am sure they do not have financial issues and still have some reserves even though the game was released 3 years ago and taken covid and lockdowns for the factor.
No they simply see a apportunity to ripp more money out of the players pocket.
That is disgusting and I'm not gonna fall for it.
Edit: Nvm I think I found it
