Is Varre's bouquet good?

I've leveled this weapon a lot and it still does pretty bad but it does good bleed
can anybody make a good build with it or should I just try a different weapon for my bleed build

probably the worst hammer due to range damage and ash of war, and hammers are probably one of the worst weapon classes so....
(the ash of war is actually good for building bleed, it just sucks that you can't change it and you can get that exact same ash of war on different weapons that allow ash customization)

its still viable and its a fun looking weapon so nothing wrong with sticking with it if you like it

It's good for applying status and that's literally it. Pretty much any other hammer will be better for you.

I'm not trying to use any hammers, I'm trying to use a bleed build, this is the only weapon with arcane scaling I have apart from the reduvia which I don't like using

I can give you some different blood weapons if you want... Blood affinity milady, blood backhand blade, rivers of blood(ah the old ROB) , eleonora polearm.

All of them are for bleed builds

You can take any weapon and infuse it with bleed/poison/occult and it scales with arcane. Especially good it it naturally has bleed or poison.

As a dex/faith/arcane build I'm rarely the type to do strength builds but I'm certain 9 out of 10 strength players will say that hammers are one of the best ooga booga / bonk weapon class in the strength build class. Great and colossal hammers for instance are some of the hardest hitting, poise eating, stance breaking and pure damage dealing monstrosities and this is a fact proven since launch week of the game... so I really have NO clue why you'd go that far to hate on hammers lol.

uuhm i'm an ungabunga player myself, my go to build for my 1st run in elden ring (and dlc when they released it) was a double pickaxe counterdamage build so i'm pretty aware of the weapon class advantages

still if we rank all the weapon classes and compare them hammers (different from greathammers btw) tend to fall to the bottom of the list (ironically greathammers help to do this because they are great-hammers and tend to be better weapons to make a build around them)

i even said the weapon was viable even if its considered one of the worse in one of the worse classes so... no idea why you think i'm ''hating''
if we talk about the brick hammer you'll see me hating, that PoS has less range than regular hammers, i've missed hits with it while hugging bosses lol

It is a hammer so it has good stance damage. It also does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of bleed that scales with ARC and also is BUFFABLE, which means greases that scale with ARC will scale with ARC on that weapon. It also has a not bad skill that is unique for a hammer.

All things considered, it is 100% useless if your target is immune to bleed. It is more of a novelty PvP weapon if anything, I won some duels with it and sleep/poison grease. It is probably one of the worst hammers tho. It also has the "better" bleed just like Hoslow's and Reduvia that deals 200 + 15% damage instead of 100 + 15% (which is more noticeable in PvP)

Oh, and it looks pretty! That's good.

Hammers in general are good, especially when you 2h them. Fast bonk sticks that get hyper armor frames, think curved swords but for big boys.
