Option 1: Defeat Erdtree Sentinel at the very beginning and acquire his Golden Halberd, pump stats to be able weild it (you will need 20 STR to two-hand it), watch is shred everything it touches.

Option 2: Go east from The First Step and find an evergaol on top of a hill. Defeat Bloodhound and acquire Bloodhound's fang - a reliable heavy curved sword with decent damage, reach and even procs bleed as a nice bonus.

Option 3 ("ol' reliable") : Start as Vagabond, pump STR to 16, farm the military camp early on until local grunts drop you their Lordsworn Straight Sword and Brass Shield. Bam - pretty much the best sword and board build. Not overpowered - but reliable, honest and effective. Whenever opportunity presents itself - use sword's Square Off special attack, especially heavy stab one - it deals ridiculous stance damage and will very often cause enemies to stagger for a free crit.

I think i will try both option 1 & 2, I heard that the bloodhound fang is really good for a starter bleed build, thanks for the tips
Strength / Faith

50-60 Vigor
50-60-Strength
25-30 Faith

Use buffs, healing and pummel all opposition.
