I have no interest in Duskbloods, but this argument is weird on its face. Video games can be art, sure, but they are commercial art--designed to be sold for profit. And all companies are beholden to their stakeholders; it's how they stay in business.
If they want to make money, they release it on steam day 1. Fromsoft is going to backpaddle just like ubislop.
Either way, there's still no way in hell I'm buying a Switch 2.
You need customers for profit, though. Best to treat them with some respect (no monthly subscription fee to play your own game, multiple platforms = more customers).
It just feel criminal to make another exclusive fromsoft game that will rot on an already obsolete console (yeah sorry i mean... Everything the switch 2 does, peoples did it already a long time ago now and we are already entering a new gen...) for years, considering everybody disliked the fact that bloodborne is still stuck for exemple.
If only it was just that.
We are in the worst timeline possible, the fact they did an exclusivity with Big N out of all the companies out there is the worst thing possible.
But it's Fromsoft, they just need to do it decent and multi-plataform to sell a ♥♥♥♥ ton. There's no way nintendo is paying more than what the natural sales would amount to.
I also dont see kids playing duskblood instead of a nintendo housemade game, this console is targeted towards literal kids and toddlers
Don't mind them.
They are just jealous they are not connoisseurs of fine arts like you :-)
