I 'checked-out' on FROM games, ever since SOTE.

I really wish they had taken my suggestion on selling an IP to blue-point *(or some equally credible developer).

but they didnt sell it to bluepoint, sony owns it and they just had one of their western studios remake cus they're basically an american company rn and dont care about japan at all

Nothing is really stopping Bluepoint from making a Souls-Like in a cool world. (aside from sony assigning them to a terrible god of war live service game).

The only issue is that FROM SOFTWARE just so happens to be 2nd to none in terms of making a really engaging environment to explore paired with fun gameplay.
