everything is Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
The only enemies that are genuinely annoying are the Hornsent Dancers and the stupid Hornsent Warriors with beast helms.
Everything else gets deleted by parry, stance break, or you can easily run past.
players have to obtain scadutree fragments that help mitigate damage. The more fragments you have the less damage you take. This change is completely idiotic and should have not occurred. It's basically the devs way of appeasing the fabois who want to make the game harder. It isn't harder, it's simply tedious because it takes longer to get things done. It's a tim sink of idiotic proportions...
I have very mixed feelings about them. What the devs were trying to do was encourage thorough exploration of areas, rather than zipping from objective to objective. As far as that goes, I don't think they failed per se. There are countless better methods of achieving this however, and there are many obvious issues with the system that make it a drag to deal with. Your blessing level does carry over to NG+ and the fragment locations refresh though, so if you go that route you don't need to agonize over finding the last few hidden fragments since it will be extremely easy to hit level 20 the next time 'round.
?
So what is exactly wrong with it? How many hits you need to tank, 10?
These games played like that forever and DLCs are almost always harder than base game.
Maybe shield would help you.
Don't forget you don't need to kill every enemy.
Especially if you killed them before and looted them already.
Why are people forced to use shields to be successful in the DLC? This is my biggest complaint about the change from the base game. FS basically screwed anyone who uses a different playstyle to play the game. The changes weren't needed and are completely idiotic imo. They made the game extremely tedious and painfully slow. Everything that made ER great has been erased.
But what do we expect from your takes at this point...
