Mouse Input getting disabled randomly.

About 10 minutes into playing the game today, it refused to recognize my mouse input. I can't R1 or rotate the camera. Closing the game and restarting fixed it, but only for about 10 minutes. I got this issue multiple times today.

When I paused the game and went to the menu I could still move the cursor around, so I don't think this is the cursor getting caught on another window. I don't have any other monitors.

How do we submit bug reports for this game? I tried checking the link on steam but it doesn't seem to have any option to submit a report. Game's basically unplayable for me right now.

I returned to the game and I'm getting this bug aswell. I tried changing it to borderless windowed, windowed and fullscreen. Still the same problem and exactly as OPs case, only one monitor, I reconnected the mouse aswell and it did not solve the problem.

Same here : ( pretty terrible works for around 15ish minutes or stops working when die and respawn/move to another site of grace

EDIT: Original wrong comment below, what actually helped me was opening and closing the steam overlay. Another temporary solution is playing in offline mode.

I found a workaround, I disabled the steam overlay and discord overlay and my mouse is back. Strange tho, this never happened to me before. I'll keep playing to see if it breaks again with that fix.

plugging in a controller seems to fix the problem but u have to use controller then.

What? Same problem happens with me today. I was so confused - hundreds of hours played and never had same issue before.

Mouse cursor is presented in menu and moving. In-game camera is not moved by mouse, mouse buttons are not working neither in game or menu. Still no problems with mouse in OS even with Alt + Tab.
Mouse is disabled randomly.

disabled the steam?

He disabled steam overlay. Right click on game name in your games list, select first option and there will be steam overlay enable/disable option.

I've tried to turn off steam overlay for Elden Ring and it didn't help. Mouse became disabled anyway after some playing.

Try disabling discord's aswell, I also changed to windowed mode.

Same for me. Did any update cause this? Never had any problems for 240h playtime until now
